Being comfortable is what every person strives to be or feel. Being comfortable is feeling free and content with one self and one’s environment. Saying you’re comfortable is a versatile statement. It can mean that you are laying on a comfortable bed or you are comfortable at mind. Meaning there is nothing you worry about at the moment. Saying you are comfortable in your own skin can mean that you are comfortable with who you are, what you are and how you look. Being comfortable is a very important aspect to being happy in life.
As a guesthouse it is important to us that our guests are comfortable not only when in the room. It is also important that our guests feel comfortable when moving around the guesthouse and interacting with our hosts and employees. Guests should feel comfortable enough to enjoy our property as their own home.
Comfortability does not always come easy, it is a state of mind some might find difficult to achieve. It is not uncommon for a person to feel uncomfortable in new environments.
A person can better become comfortable in an unfamiliar environment, in a hospitality setting, when hosts are comfortable. Interaction between guests and hosts is what takes a constrained environment and turns it into a comfortable environment. That is what we strive to do at Edward Charles Guest House.
When expanding the thought of being comfortable to further environments such as our town, comfortability is what comes to mind. Mossel Bay is a very comfortable town. Not only for locals but for tourists and visiting guests as well. It is a comfortable day stop or a relaxing holiday destination. It is easy to feel right at home and become comfortable with the locals.
