By submitting an online reservation you warrant that you agree to the following terms:

RESPONSIBILITY

• The Proprietors are not responsible for loss or damages of any visitor's possessions brought upon the premises arising from fire, theft or otherwise, by whomsoever caused, or arising from negligence or wrongful act of any person in the employ of the proprietors.

• Valuables may be handed in to the proprietors for safe custody. 
  
• All visitors, whether or not they occupy the rooms, are deemed to contract with the proprietors on this basis.

RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS

• Reservations will be canceled after 5 days if no proof of 50% deposit are received.  FULL PAYMENT must be made 30 days prior to arrival.
• CANCELLATION POLICY: Reservations canceled are refunded on the following slide-scale:
  30 or more days prior to arrival: full refund
  15 - 30 days prior to arrival: 50% refund
  0 - 14 days prior to arrival, no show: no refund

ACCOUNT AND PAYMENT

• The account remains the responsibility of the guest until payment in full is received, notwithstanding the fact that the guest may have incurred the charges on this account in the course and scope of his employment of service to any company, business or person, the guest is thus liable for payment of this account.
• Rates are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and is subject to change without notice.
• No bookings are guaranteed until reservation is confirmed by payment of a deposit. All online bookings are subject to an e-mail confirmation.
• Payment may be made via Credit Card or cash. Only bank guaranteed cheques will be accepted. Online payments are subject to our Privacy Policy. WE DO NOT ACCEPT DINERS / AMERICAN EXPRESS CARDS.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT

• Check-in times are from 2pm until 6pm daily.
• Check-out times are between 10am - 11am

CHILDREN

• Children must be under adult supervision at all times, especially around the open pool area.
• The guesthouse staff will under no circumstances supervise children.

• We regret - no pets allowed, with the exception of Guide Dogs.
• Baby equipment is available on request.
• The premises contain an unsupervised, open pool which may be used at the guests' own risk.
• Daily laundry services are available at additional cost.
• Room Service and Wake-Up Calls are available on request.
• We operate a non-smoking policy throughout the guesthouse. You are welcome to smoke outside the house, where ashtrays and / or bins will be provided.
• The use or sale of any illegal substance in the guesthouse or on surrounding property is not permissible.
• We reserve the right to eject a guest/guests from the guesthouse if they are not conducting themselves in an appropriate and / or acceptable manner to the building and/or other residents or staff.

DOMICILIUM CITANDI ET EXECUTANDI

• This contract is governed by the South African Law and the South African courts shall have jurisdiction in respect of any dispute between you and Edward Charles Manor.
• Edward Charles Manor chooses its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement as:
  1 Sixth Avenue
  Mossel Bay
  South Africa
• Domicilium citandi et executandi for the guest(s) will be the physical address provided upon booking.
